About us
José Serrano brings an architect’s eye to his simple, striking designs. Born in Lisbon, he studied architecture at Gama Filho University in Rio de Janeiro. After working designing
large commercial spaces in Brazil, Serrano moved to New York to study at The Parsons School of Design, now The New School, and work for New York-based Designtech Associates.
In 1991 he returned to Lisbon, working with Intergaup to develop a new headquarters for the Bank of Portugal, the Macau Cultural Centre, and more. In 2004 Serrano became a partner in the Lisbon-based architecture firm Graphos, now SKZ, and began developing its interior design department
Our Team.
